I had known Nelson in high school when he and his brother Norman ran the Mobile Gas Station across from Cooley Dickinson Hospital in the 1950´s and 60´s. I met Betty while working at CDH . Nelson was our connection. She was an excellent Dietary supervisor and no one succeeded after her to do the great work she did for the patients helping them with meal selections and special dietary needs! What a great woman! Our deepest sympathies for Betty´s entire family. Fond memory of Granny making and serving us her famous spaghetti dinner.

So sorry for your loss. Working with Betty was always fun. Those of us that met for bkf had a great time. Crepes were Betty's favorite. May you rest in peace.

Beverly, Brenda and Belinda - So sorry to hear of your mom's passing. She was a strong woman and I remember Beverly saying "it wasn't my dad you had to be afraid of, it was my mom (of course, in the best possible way).
