COLE, Mrs. Betty Lorraine Packett, 80, of Warsaw, passed away Sunday, July 31, 2011. She was the widow of Carey Barker Cole Sr., a retired operator for C&P Telephone Co., and a member of Warsaw Baptist Church. Survivors are her son, Carey Cole (Becky) of Harrisonburg; her daughter, Lori Cole Collins of Quinton; her brother, Marion J. Packett of Warsaw; her two sisters, Rachel Edwards of Saluda and Peggy Straughan of Callao; her three grandchildren, Christina Lee Smith, Morgan Cole and Forrest Cole; and her great- granddaughter, Kylee Lorraine Smith. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, August 5, 2011 at Welch Funeral Home, Marks Chapel, with interment in Warsaw Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Marks Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Attn: Donor Services, P.O.
