Not sure what to say?

I wasn't sure how to contact the family of Prof. Cornelius but found this online. I wanted to thank you (and her) as I am the 2022 recipient of her scholarship. I am a rising sophomore at MCCC. Dear Jeff and family,
Betty was one of my favorite roommates in college. I always admired her sparkling personality and (envied) her excellent ability in math. Although I have not stayed in touch over the years, I have very fond memories of Betty. She was a beautiful person. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to you at this sad time in your lives.

I have the impression that she lived her life to the fullest, and anyone who attended her classes...

Love, Keri
