Not sure what to say?

I knew Betty Dean while attending the First Baptist Church of Santa Clara, California. She became one of my best friends. I miss her friendship and close Christian relationship. I extend my sympathy to her family and friends.

I had the pleasure of caring for Ms. Betty in her last days at Enloe. She loved you all and Jesus with her whole heart. My deepest sympathies to her family and friends.

We will miss our sister-in-law greatly. Her smile, her laugh her love of her family always obvious. We enjoyed our golf games with she and Clyde and the music at the gospel Fan Festival in Visalia and the many visits. Her faith was so deep and now she is walking with the Lord!!!

In 1985 as Chancellor of the West Valley-Mission Colleges District in Silicon Valley, I hired Betty Dean as President of Mission College. It was a fortuitous choice. She was a dedicated, intelligent, and inspiring leader. She solved many a knotty problem -- always with dignity and a sense of purpose. Her cheerful desire to help students was exhilarating and motivated others. A life well-lived.
I am glad we kept in touch after she left the District.

What an amazing woman. I wish I had known her more than as Clydes lovely wife.

Betty was blessed with many gifts and talents but I was most impressed with her gentle leadership, wit and love for her Lord Jesus Christ. She was a small woman, but mighty in wisdom and compassion. The twinkle in her eyes rarely dimmed. She shone brightly here on earth but now she is radiant in Glory. I await the day when we shall meet in Heaven.

Our sincere condolences to Clyde and family. We felt privileged to know Betty and receive the warm glow of her friendship. We so admired this special lady, and we can only imagine how much she will be missed by her family.
