For a short while I was a neighbor of dear and special Betty Jane Deck when she lived on Winger Street in Bakersfield, CA. It was always a treat to spend time with Betty. We would go out for lunch on occasion. I will never forget her wonderful hint for clearing scum on a loaded dishwasher.....just add a bit of vinegar. It worked as did most of her recommendations. I was most fortunate to have been her neighbor. She will always be in my heart. Etta Robin

Betty was very sweet. She gave me my first loan when I worked at Zenith! I'll never forget her. I always sing her praises! She helped me get on my feet. She'll be missed. My prayers are with the family. Debi Mercado Small

Such a sweet lady. Betty helped my husband and I through the ins and outs of collecting Hallmark ornaments at the Ornament Collectors Club of the Ozarks. She would present such wonderful meeting so we could enjoy each other.
