Betty's life was a life well lived. When I read that she is the daughter-in-law of Marjoie Devol, It made me think. Mrs. Devol was my fifth grade teacher at Green School. She had visited her son and his family in Hawaii while he was in the military there. She had a slide show of Hawaiian customs, volcanos, food, etc. It made quite an impression on me. There was also a shortage of nurses and teachers in Hawaii at that time. That's when I decided to become a nurse. Could this be the awesome...

Betty was such an amazing nurse to our family members who passed through Mt.ST. Marys Hospital. Always there with a smile and comforting words! Sending prayers to Margie and the entire Devol family!

Betty worked at Mount Saint Marys when my baby brother was hit by a car, and lost his life. She told me she was with him when he was brought in to the hospital. All those years later she cried with me as she told me about that evening. Im so glad she was there with my brother. She was always so nice to me, and my family. Hugs to all of you.

I ran into Betty and Marjorie 2 years ago on Easter at the United Methodist Church and I have to say I was surprised in Betty's memory. She told me things about my life that happened when I was in high school and college that I was utterly surprised. Such a pleasant lady to be around. May GOD grant the family comfort and faith during their time of grieving. She will truly be missed. GOD BLESS

liked Betty. She came to all the Murray City alumni events. She always had a story and made me laugh. She graduated with my father in law Bill Quinn. RIP Betty. Our condolences to the family of a much respected woman.

I am so sorry of the passing of Betty. I met Betty in 1984 at Doctors Hospital. She was my nurse. She was a great nurse she always a sure me things would be ok. I was only 18 and my hospital journey had just begun. I was at the hospital thru out the years because of infection. Betty always made sure to stop by to visit. Then years passed and I met up again with her at bingo. She never forgot about me and always ask how I was. Then I became her Avon lady. We would talk when I delivered her...
