Betty H. Draheim, of Grand Blanc, age 90, died Sunday, July 7, 2013 at her residence. A Memorial Service will be held 1:30pm Sunday, July 14, 2013 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, MI. Reverend Harold K. Polk, Jr. officiating. Cremation has taken place and a private burial will be held in Avondale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Grace Presbyterian Church, 10183 Lapeer Road, Davison, MI. Visitation 11am Sunday until the time of the service at the funeral home. Betty was born in Flushing, MI on February 10, 1923, the daughter of Harry and Mary (Coffee) Jones. She graduated in 1940 from Flushing High School. She married Richard Draheim on April 12, 1947 and he preceded her in death on June 14, 1983. Mrs. Draheim worked at GMI (Kettering) for 32 years. Surviving are much loved niece, Ruth Ann (William) Slusser and nephew, Harry (Mary Lou) Moak; other nieces and nephews; great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Dear Ruth Ann... I'm sending you my deepest condolences on the passing of your beloved Aunt Betty. It's so hard to say goodbye to our loved ones, that's when our memories stay the closest to our hearts forever. Please know that I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

I loved my Aunt Betty like a 2nd mother. She was always there for me and my family. I will miss her more than words can say. God Bless her and I know she is in heaven with all her loved ones. She will always have a special place in my heart.
