Took Speech & Drama under Mrs. Edwards. She motivated me to get into radio. Set up a mock radio broadcast studio in class for my final. Only "A" I ever got! Class of 74

Ms. Edwards was my junior English teacher at UH and was one of the toughest instructors I ever had. With that said, she was also one of the best. I barely passed her class but what she taught me has lasted a lifetime as I sailed through subsequent classes in college and graduate school and my work today. So sad to hear of Mrs. Edwards passing. She was my teacher at University School as well as my neighbor. She had a great sense of humor and was a great teacher. One of my favorite Mrs. Edwards memories...she would tell me to get all the goody out of my gum then put it in the trash... :) she was always kind....She will be missed.
