I first met Betty and Dick Ertel through my friendship with their eldest daughter Judy. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know them both and have many sweet memories of times spent together enjoying a delicious meal, popcorn, ice cream, and moments of joyous laughter. Although Betty endured hardships in her early life, I was amazed by her resilient spirit and zest for living along with her beautiful creativity which lives on in Judy.
