Betty Flournoy Services for Betty Flournoy will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, February 10, 2013, in the chapel of Kramer of Colfax, with Rev. Jeff White officiating. Interment will be in Pollock Cemetery, Pollock, LA. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. Sunday until the time of the service at Kramer of Colfax. Betty Flournoy, 73, of Colfax, passed away February 6, 2013, in her residence. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Flournoy; one son, Travis Jones and one grandson, Cory Flournoy. Betty was lovingly known to her grandchildren as Memaw. She enjoyed cooking, taking care of her family, and watching football, especially the Houston Oilers and the Tennessee Titans. She will forever be in our hearts. She is lovingly survived by three sons, Bryan Thiele of Phoenix, Arizona; Thomas Thiele of Houston, Texas and Travis Flournoy of Colfax; six daughters, Laura Popper of Sugarland, Texas; Darla Valenti of Las Vegas, Nevada; Carolyn Moore of Utopia, Texas; Terry Brinson of Deweyville, Texas; Judith Marie Kelly of Alexandria, LA and Charlie Ann Flournoy of Colfax, LA; fifteen grandchildren and one great grandchild. Pallbearers will be Bruce Popper, Thomas Moore, Joseph Thiele, Eric Leger, Robert Brinson and Robert D. Brinson.
