Sincere sympathy to the family of Betty - i live in Ireland but I had the privilege of working for Ron & Betty in 1998 for about 5 months . I painted their garden fence when they lived off Mc Lean Ave! myself & Betty used to have a few in Dillon´s Bar. Great memories - sorry to see that she passed away which I have only recently discovered . Ann McKenna

I am very saddened to see the obituary about Betty's untimely passing. I am truly shocked. I was flipping through my Jackie book from you the other day and got to thinking that we had not been in touch for a few years. I cherish the memories of our meeting. Sending my deepest and heartfelt condolences to Ron and Betty's loved ones. Betty illuminated every moment with her charm, wit, wisdom and panache. i miss her dearly. Betty's voice will always be close to me - as it was comforting and always pitch perfect in terms of taking care of business. Betty set us straight when we needed it !
