Dear Lorraine and family, our sincere condolences on the passing of Betty. She was such a good friend of my mom's, Connie Patron. They worked together for many years for TUSD. Blessings to you all. Lillian (Lila) and Efren Rodriguez.

I was privileged to work as a teacher at Richey School with Betty. Although I had lost contact after moving away, I have never forgotten her dedication to children as a role model for all educators.

My condolences to the family and friends, Betty was such a wonderful person. I had the pleasure of knowing her from Richey School. My grandmother Mrs. Jimenez would like to send her prayers during this tough time, she was a school monitor at Richey and worked with Betty.

She was kind, professional, and supportive to her many peers and new teachers and administrators coming up. I valued her! I feel...
