Not sure what to say?

For my cousins,
Tiny, Danny, Johnny, Edward, Andrew & Beth,
It has been so long since I have seen my Aunt & Uncle and now I regret the distance of time and place. I truly pray for all of you and your children in the loss of your parents & grandparents. I can say that I have fond memories of visiting at Aunt Betty & Uncle Bud's house, do not recall all but remember it was happy, joyous, and running around being silly or mischievous. I am thankful for these times with my Aunt & Uncle....

I have known Betty and Ed Gersten for 25 years and they are/were two of the most wonderful people I have known. Betty was like a second Mom to me and always had kind words to say and she never stayed angry very long at Eddie or I when we would get into "that band" trouble.

Mr. Gersten was a kind, soft spoken man of few words, but a gentle spirit. I hope that when it comes my time to go, people will say the same kind things of me.

My heart broke with the news and...

Nick and Jan Mangino

My heart goes out to the Gersten family. I only met your parents a very few times, but the times I did, I found them to be wonderful people. They will be missed greatly

Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. It sounds like your mother led a very full, rich life. It is certain she will be sorely missed.

Betty will be deeply missed. She was a wonderful woman with an incredibly kind heart. She was the type of person that always put others first. Her smile would light up a room and her laugh was infectious. Her and her husband Edward were deeply in love and I'm glad that they are now together and at peace. I know they will both look down on us all with love. We love them both very much and will honor their memory forever. Our condolences to all that knew her.

Our prayers go out to the children of Betty. We were so saddened to hear of Betty's death but know that she is in the best place. I have known Betty for many years and have many wonderful memories of our fishing outings and our correspondence throughout the years.

With our sympathy's to the family: Bob and Mary Ellen Thomas
