Not sure what to say?

Betty was my neighbor when I lived on Glen Oak. What a true and faithful servant of God! She was kind, caring and the face of Christianity, one of those people in life that I will never forget. May she rest in eternal peace.

I worked for Betty as her secretary, and grew to love her very much. She had the respect of everyone she met. She was brilliant, and way ahead of her time. I saw many programs open up to people from all over the world, and those people grew to love her as well. These were her children. I know there is a special place in heaven for her. She will be sorely missed.

I worked for Betty at Catholic Social Service back in the early 80s as her secretary. She was a lovely woman and I enjoyed working for her. Fond memories!

I worked in Betty's Chicago Project Foster Care Program. Feel blessed from my time there at Catholic Social Service. She set the example of God's Love that we all tried to follow. Thank you. Prayers for her family.

Betty was a strong committed leader for Catholic Social Service, determined to provide the best foster care and adoption services in the state of Illinois. She developed the Advisory Boards throughout the Diocese of Peoria, and I had the privilege of working with her as well as on the governing board in Peoria. We were privileged and forever grateful to receive our family of 4 through the adoption program. --May she rejoice in the presence of the Lord today and always! We extend our deepest...

I worked for Betty as part of her executive administration staff for 5 years in the '80s. My condolences to the Gilmore family! Betty was a wonderful woman, full of energy and devoted in her mission to make the Peoria Diocese a better community. She has finally received her ultimate reward, being reunited with her beloved family! Heaven gained a "Guardian Angel" this past week! Bless you Betty!

I'm sorry I cannot attend Betty's funeral Mass because of prior commitments. The priests and people of the Diocese of Peoria are much indebted to Betty for all the work she did for Catholic Social Services and for the many persons she helped through the years. Eternal rest grant to her, your faithful servant, O Lord.
