Aunt Betty was the sweetest, most generous, most welcoming person. She lived in Europe most of our lives so we saw her seldom but were always excited by the post cards and airmail letters she sent. After she moved back to Washington, D.C. in 1978 we nieces and nephews at various times visited her. She opened her home to us. She was always delighted we were visiting She was such a special person. We were all so proud of her.
