Not sure what to say?

Ken Burn's Country Music documentary thankfully introduced me to the wonderfulness of Betty Johnson. Her spirit and love of life and family positively RADIATED out of the screen and right into my soul. Her singing 'I'll fly away' always makes me smile, but when she and her daughter sing together I cry. The absolute love for the music and for each other is a blessing the whole world should experience. We can only hope and pray. God bless God's angel and her family.

Betty was a beautiful person, inside and out. How grateful I am for time spent together with her, and members of her family, especially Lydia. Betty helped encourage, mentor, and inspire me through some of life's challenges with her generous encouragement. Lots of love to all!

I produced the two-CD compilation of her recordings for Jasmine Records and we had many long delightful phone conversations and emails. You always ended her messages with "hugs". A truly special person, filled with love. R.I.P. dear Betty.

My dad J. B. Clark announced for the Johnson Family Singers on Radio Station WBT in Charlotte NC in the 40´s and 50´s. Recently we spoke on the phone and she sent me several of her CD´s. She will be missed.

Betty was a beacon of light to Haverhill Corner. Her smile and music will continue to carry on in our hearts. She was a treasure. Special thoughts to all her family Pat Buchanan

I so miss my friend from Haverhill, including walking her home from church. Prayers and best wishes to the family.

Our hearts are broken to hear of Betty´s passing. Our time with her and Arthur in St Croix are memories we will carry forever. Charlie and Brenda Morris
