To the family of Betty Hayenga,

I am so sorry for the loss of your mother, grandmother. I admired her greatly while working with her for Hubert Humphrey and on various State DFL committees that I was involved in as Anoka County Chairwoman and 4th District Vice Chair. I believe I saw her last several years ago at a DFL function, still with great spirit. I live in Sun City West, AZ and do miss the Minnesota politics and great people like Betty.
