Betty Ann Heim

Teri and I have been friends of Betty and Ray since the late 50's. Teri baby sat for at least some of their kids when she was in High School, and Ray was my track and football coach in Jefferson. When IBM moved us back to the Milwaukee area we kept in close contact with Ray & Betty. One of my favorite memories was Aunt Betty creating a Monarch habitat in her dining room. Netting was used to cover large branches. The search for larvae and the menu of milkweed. We enjoyed the whole process from cocoon to frail but fragile butterflies! So beautiful as she set them free!
