Betty J. Hilbert

Mrs. Hilbert was one of my many other "second mothers" on Westport Drive. It was such a close neighborhood...block parties every summer including Betty's delicious baked beans. Every time that I make my baked beans, I think of her. But my beans never turn out as good as hers were! Mrs. Hilbert and my mom were very close and now with both of them gone, it leaves a big void. The saving grace is knowing that God will reunite us with Him.
