Betty's poise, dignity and courage are qualities that I will not forget - she was always delightful to talk to/interact with, both personally and professionally, and she will be sorely missed. My deepest condolences go to Betty's entire family. I hope that they can take some comfort in many happy memories of better times and be proud of her incredibly courageous fight against such a dreadful disease. She was a very special person.

I've known Betty Jahns, a dear friend of our family, ever since we joined the Racquets Club in Short Hills in the late 60s. She was always the life of the party; and the Short Hills crowd had a lot of those! The world will never be the same without her here but we all know where she is and we will never forget her love of life. Sympathies to the Jahns family.
