Betty A. Johnson

Groton - Betty A. Johnson, 90, of 425 Drozdyk Drive, Groton, passed away on Friday evening, June 21, 2013, at Fairview in Groton.

She was born on Aug. 25, 1922, in Youngstown, Ohio, the daughter of Custer and Sara (Courtnage) Foreman. Betty had worked as a bookkeeper for Packer Thomas accounting firm in Youngstown.

Betty was a member of St. Andrew Presbyterian Church in Groton.

She is survived by a daughter, Karen L. Popp and her husband, Dennis, of Groton; and two grandchildren, Stacy Popp and her husband, Kevin Vilcheck, and William Popp.

She was predeceased by her brothers, John, James, and Robert Foreman and a sister, Sara Marian Hoover.

A private graveside service will be held in Starr Burying Ground, Groton.
