KELLY, Betty Jean - Of Burton, age 81, died Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at Crestmont Nursing Care Center. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, January 23, 2010 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Doug Klein officiating. Entombment at Flint Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Christ United Methodist Church. Betty was born in Ontario, Canada on August 13, 1928, the daughter of William J. and Mable Roy Manley. She was a member of Huron Street United Methodist Church and Christ United Methodist Church. Betty was a telephone operator and homemaker. Surviving are two sons, Anthony and wife Sherry Kelly and Matthew and wife Elsie Kelly; step-granddaughter, Elisha; step-great-grandchildren, Jayden, Jonathon and Jaycee; sister, Irene and husband Reginald Dewley; sister-in-law, Mary J.; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by parents; husband, James L. Kelly and brother, William. The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff at Crestmont.
