My great Aunt Betty was always a source of kindness and support for my mom, Marilyn Peoples Willoughby (her brother Dwight's oldest daughter). We are all truly grateful for her!

I am honored to have met this wonderful lady. She was a true friend in time of need. She will be missed!

She was a caring person and was always present when needed. I am fortunate to have known her and her family!

The nurse friends this obituary mentioned, Goldie and Sax, worked the night shift also, from 11 PM to 7 AM. Exhausted, they would go straight to bed. I am one of the four daughters of Sax (Sara Saxman Nowlin). Sax was a private duty nurse, which meant that she rarely had a day off, not even Sunday. All of us girls took our turn singing in the choirs of First Presbyterian. Once when I was in high school, and the youth choir was singing for the Sunday services, the director gave me a solo....

I remember my mother, Helen McCune, talking about her friend, Peeps, when they worked together in the hospital. She thoroughly enjoyed your mother and was always gald to call her a friend as well as a co-worker. Sorry for your loss. Losing your mother at any age is always a tough time.
