Betty June Lary

BJ was a very special person; both smart and talented it was always a pleasure and an experience to spend time with her. She is missed.

Betty June was a very dear friend. She was smart and funny and very talented. She was cast as Titania (queen of the fairies) in Shakespeare's A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM. BJ created a beautiful costume and then later cut it into pieces and made Christmas ornaments for her friends. BJ was one of a kind!

BJ was a very dear friend; she was smart, talented and very funny. Years ago I served "Cranberry Banger Punch" at a holiday cocktail party at my home. It was vodka based with both cranberry and orange flavors so it seemed harmless. Although warned, BJ really enjoyed that punch served in silverplated, double old fashioned sized cups.

The next day she was feeling a bit off and declared that she had "an allergic reaction to the alcohol".

B.J. (Betty June) was a very dear friend since 1974; we met through mutual friends and our shared time working at the D.H.Holmes,Co.,Ltd. (department store) in New Orleans.

B.J. was smart, funny and a very good friend; she was also a very talented actress and much respected.

She will be missed.

We will miss our neighbor BJ very much. Our little street has not been the same without her. Have no worries BJ we will take very good care of Scoot the cat!
