Betty D. Mason, age 59, of Walsh Road in Sanbornville, NH, died November 26, 2007 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA.

Born August 14, 1948 in Rochester, NH, daughter of the late Henry “Hank” and Nancy (Ferguson) Copley, she resided the past 25 years in Sanbornville, NH, having come from Lynn, MA.

She was employed with General Electric in Lynn, MA and also had worked at GE in Somersworth and Hooksett, NH.

Betty loved crafts, reading, shopping and helping others, she especially loved her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of 29 years: Wayne K. Mason of Sanbornville, NH, her mother: Nancy Copley of Lynn, MA, 6 children: John Mason of Lynn, MA, Richard & Angela Mason of Springfield, VA, Cynthia & Dale Caulkins of Effingham, NH, William & Beverly Mason of Sanbornville, NH, Michael Mason of Sanbornville and Leeann & Gary Eastman of Peabody, MA, 13 Grandchildren, 6 siblings: Frederick Copley of Lynn, MA, Donna Rizzo of Georgetown, MA, Vicky Standish of Lynn, MA, Pamela Savio of Lynn, MA, Susan Trahant of Peabody, MA and Barbara McCabe of Lynn, MA, also numerous Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces & Great Nephews. She was predeceased by a brother: Jack Copley and a nephew: William Copley, both of Lynn, MA.

There will be no formal service, family and friends are welcome to Calling Hours on Thursday, November 29, 2007 from 4-7 pm at Peaslee Funeral Home, 2079 Wakefield Road in Sanbornville, NH.
