I just saw this about Betty and was very saddened. We were good friends at Rincon and especially remember our love of math and Mr. Howell's calculus class when we were seniors. I lost touch with her when she went off to MIT and was fascinated to just learn that she was an IBM Systems Engineer as was I. My condolences to her family.

Betty was my best friend years ago while we both lived in Florida and New Jersey but I had lost touch with her. I've been thinking of her this past week and hsd intended to check her out on facebook if possible. I will continue to miss her always. I'm sure she's a great loss to her family. My sincere sympathy.
