McWilliams Funeral Home - Wellston Obituary

  Betty L. McWilliams, age 86, of McArthur, passed away Thursday, April 24, 2025, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.  She was born July 7, 1938 in McArthur, Ohio, daughter of the late Charles Reynolds and Nora Josephine Waldron Reynolds.  Betty was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker who loved crocheting and enjoyed putting puzzles together.  She was a member of the Wellston First Church of the Nazarene.  Betty is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Michael L. and Teresa McWilliams of Grove City and Ronald R. and Debbie McWilliams of Nelsonville; brother, Ray Reynolds of McArthur; along with 8 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Harold Lloyd McWilliams in 2014.  Calling hours will be Monday, April 28th, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Funeral Service will be Tuesday, April 29th, at 11 a.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Griffith officiating.  Burial will be in the Elk Cemetery in McArthur.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com.

So sorry to hear of Betty’s passing! We often visited her, she was a very nice Christian lady. We pray the good Lord sustains the family during this difficult time.
