Betty was an inspiration to all who knew her! Continued Prayers for this wonderful family!

Rexanna and Susan, Thinking of you as I know how difficult this time is when you lose your mom. I loved her as a friend and teacher! I know that your memories will bring you comfort as you learn to live without her. We were blessed to have wonderful parents and we can hold on to that for strength in the years to come. Love you both, Lori

I´m so sorry for tour loss! Betty was so sweet and I was honored to be able to care for her!

Your mother was one of the finest Christian women I have ever known and she was blessed with wonderful children and friends. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Rejoice in the Lord - she is at peace and has seen the face of God. Blessings and love to each of you. Mrs. Horace (Carol Ann) Brown

To Rexanna and the entire Lowman family we offer our sincerest condolences. May you find comfort, peace, and strength during this difficult time. We will continue to keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

Mrs. Pennell taught me how to type in 1966 and as a result of her excellent teaching skills, I was hired by The City Of Morganton as a Typist and Tele-Communicator. After 30 years of service, I retired with full benefits. Thankfully, I had the opportunity to tell her what an impact she made on my career. Thank you Mrs. Pennell.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Mrs. Pennell was a teacher you could respect and love. She was also a very kind and friendly person. Every time I saw her anywhere, she spoke kindly to me. And I don't think she ever missed one of our class reunions. That spoke a lot about her. She was friendly and cared about her students. Again, I'm so sorry for your loss.

I´m so sorry for your loss. Betty was a special lady and I will always appreciate how loving and caring she was to all of us at First Baptist CDC. She always had a encouraging word for us and brought little snacks and left them on the table for everyone. She was a Godly woman who will be missed dearly.

Much love to the Pennell family... Betty was such a loving and elegant and kind person... What a wonderful legacy to leave behind as you go to be with the Lord!
