Shelia and family,
Just heard from a family friend. Wish so badly that I was there for the funeral. My love and sympathay to all of you.

To Albert and his daughters: I grew up in Shelby and lived across the street from you folks on East Main Street from December 1973 till August 1988. Mrs. Petty was always so nice to me. Every time I saw her, she was smiling from ear to ear. I'm sorry to hear that she has passed away. What a friendly lady she was. May God bless you all during this time.

I was sorry to learn of Betty's death.Even though I am at the beach, I will be thinking of the entire family during this time.

Albert and family, I am sorry to hear about Betty. She was a great lady that loved Albert and her family so much. I enjoyed being around Betty and Albert so much when I was part of the Dixie family years ago. God be with you all. Bill and Mary Dot Waddell
