Not sure what to say?

Betty Louise was, indeed, a unique, talented and charming individual. Her warmth and energetic curiosity made her a fascinating person to know. I regret losing contact during these last few years. Ginger Sharbel

Betty was one of those rare individuals who made Birmingham a better place in which to live through her dedication and love of the arts for many years. The Birmingham Children´s Theatre was recognized as one of the finest in the nation during her terms as President and the Metropolitan Arts Council became the model for successful city funded arts organizations across the country. Thank you, Betty, and God Bless. Cathy Rye Gilmore President Emerita, Virginia Samford Theatre

It was indeed a pleasure providing care to Mrs. Betty Pewitt & meeting her family. I learned so much from the caregiving experience. I will treasure & cherish all the wisdom including countless conversations shared. Sunday walks for exercise at the botanical garden, her beauty shop appointments, dining out, and daily outings was extremely fun with her. The most amazing & unforgettable experiences was listening to her many hilarious life stories while providing assistance to her. Good night to...

I want to express my deepest condolences to you, Randy, Jim and Ted. Your mother was a singular presence in my life. She was the last of the parents in my "Wonder Years" (1957 to 1972). Our families had three Air Force assignments together making you all, by far, the most consistent presence in those years. That discontinuous, but persistent presence I have treasured and it continues to this day. I am very sorry for your loss, I feel it is also my own. I look forward to seeing you all again.

She was a wonderful person, an elegant lady. I enjoyed working in her home and the conversations we had. My thoughts and prayers for the family.
