Not sure what to say?

I have fond memories of spending a lot of time at the Rees house in my high school years. They were like a second family to me. Betty & Tom were so easy to be around and Betty was a riot. She had such a good sense of humor. Her house was always open to anyone and I will always remember her. Her cooking was great too. It seemed like she was always cooking something different. I know her family will miss her greatly and it will be hard to think of her being gone. But I also know they...

For a wonderful lady who will be truly missed. I will forever remember the wonderful enchilada stacks which I learned how to make! I am still making this recipe for all my friends when they come over and it makes every one so happy, as they did me.
I hope all is forgiven about David and I breaking the front porch swing, but like Nance said, we always had the greatest fun at her home. I'll always carry these memories with me.

Love,
Greg Shannon

What a great lady! Memories of the times spent at the Rees Family Household come rushing back. There a kid, just any kid, became an honored guest. Bopper and Tom cared, listened, dispensed wisdom and love. Together, they were most gracious and generous couple who ever parented a neighborhood.
As a young teen, I was lucky enough to be part of Bopper's neighborhood. She was truly a gift in my life. I still quote her and tell others of her encouraging words and attitude during difficult...

To Boppers Family,
We only knew Bopper for a few days....but what an impression she made on us! We had the joy of meeting her at St. Joseph Hospital, while we were there with our Mother. She made us all smile at the dinner table! I will always think of her when I see "butter"! She crossed our paths only for a short time, but what a jewel she was!
God Bless you all. Know that you even have strangers who are thinking of you and keeping you all in our prayers.
G.G., Betty,...

Lois,Linda, and Leslie,
I am so sorry that you have lost Bopper. I can still hear her laugh -she was always there with what ever words she thought you needed to hear. She was one of a kind and will be missed greatly. My thoughts are with you at this time.Love,Mary

Lois and Mike-- Eddie and I send you our condolences. We will remember you in our prayers.
Love you guys.

I've been replaying the first time I met Bopper. I knew she was a sports fan and wanted to impress her, so of course, I started talking football. She knew all the stats, the favorites, who was playing who, etc. I kept up with her for the most part until we got to the injury report. She had it memorized. I just smiled. She knew her facts and was clearly passionate about her sports and life. I loved her from the first moment I met her and knew she was someone special.
