So sorry to have just read this obituary but happy to have known both Betty and her husband George while living here in Va. Beach and being welcomed into their home on a few occasions. My condolences to the Roadman family as truly Betty was an ambassador of goodness and kindness with a quick wit for all who knew her.
Sincerely,
Carole Zoretic Vignali

Betty was an inspiration to everyone that knew her. Her students were always very well-mannered and respectable to everyone throughout the school. Betty was firm but very caring and loving to all her students. Her former students would always stop by her class in the morning to say hello. I will always remember her as a stylish and very loving person. My thoughts and prayers are with John and the rest of the family. Rest in peace Betty. Once a Lion, always a Lion.

Roadman family, I lived next to Betty in Monessen. Her mom gave me .25 a letter & I took many from your dad while he was in the service down to the office of Dr. Griffith where she worked.
My deepest condolences. Betty Kucik Ventura

To Mams children John, Emmylou and George and their families thank you for allowing me to care for your mom. I have wonderful memories, and blessed to be able to be apart of her care from the start and till the end. She would always thank me for being their to help her. She loved shoes and sometimes I would let her wear mine and she was all smiles, never seen anyone love sweets specially cookies. She loved me to sing and dance for her ( glad you were not around for that). Glad she is in...
