My cousin Betty was a favorite in our house. She and her sister were special to my parents. She was sweet and loving and I will miss our phone chats and her beautiful smile.

I loved Betty. I loved her as a secretary
and I loved her as a mother-in-law.
She was the best in both categories, and I thank her so much for giving me her wonderful daughter. She will be missed very much but I am sure she is at peace now and in a wonderful place

When I think of Aunt Betty I remember her soft voice and beautiful smile. Although I hadn't seen her in several years, I have very fond memories of her. Especially when she was by my side when my mother passed away. Now she and her sister, Marie, are together again. Linda, Brian, Andy and Bert Jr. my prayers are with you.

Mom always knew what we needed - not so much what we wanted - and she tried to give it to us. Generally, it was little more than a quickly assembled and hand-patted baloney sandwich or some other gentle reminder that no matter what, she loved us. She never resorted to drama or grand gesture, preferring always the simplest and most genuine expression, generally framed by her keen wit or quick humor. I can think of nothing that better describes the meaning of the word "mother."
