Betty Scott

I´ll add on to my brother John, although he summed up Betty & the Scott´s pretty great! Words can´t express the affection I feel for Betty. I learned so much from watching her. A few of my favorite memories with the Scott´s: Piling in the light blue Ford Falcon station wagon going to the drive-in to see Flipper or The Love Bug; Betty driving us to school every day until Tom, Sue & I could be trusted to walk to St Albert´s; searching the neighborhood for John (asleep in Spot´s doghouse);...

Our families were neighbors for 13 years, and there was / is no better neighbor than Betty. In a time when we didn't lock doors, we just walked in, always welcome. Not possible to find a single memory in 60 years of family friendship ! I will always remember growing up with Betty out working on the car while George was inside cooking. Betty (and the whole family) was a huge part of a wonderful childhood.
