Betty Sue Scott

SCOTT, Betty Sue - Of New Port Richey, Florida, formerly of Flint, age 79, died Monday, May 7, 2007 at her granddaughter's residence. Funeral service was held at 12Noon Thursday, May 10, 2007 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Jon Grimshaw officiated. Burial in Crestwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Rachel Scott Memorial Fund. Betty was born in Columbia, South Carolina on September 26, 1927, the daughter of the late Roy F. McLemore, Sr. and Eva (Busbee). On January 13, 1948 she married William M. Scott, Jr. She was a member of First Baptist Church of New Port Richey, Florida. She loved spending time with her family, dancing, movies, music, reading and loved going to Las Vegas. Surviving are husband, William "Mack"; children, Eva Sue and husband John Warner, Kay Turner, Ken and wife Sandy Scott, Ron and wife Lynn Scott; grandchildren, Deanna Werner and Jackie Shepherd, Jeff Warner, Logan Werth, Dana Turner, Trent Williams, Abigail, Adam, Jason and Ashley Scott; great-grandchildren, Alyssa Werner, Elizabeth Warner, Emily Warner and Dawson Turner; brothers, David and wife Callie McLemore, Bill and wife LaDonna McLemore, Jim and wife Pat McLemore; sister, Mary McLemore; many nieces and nephews.
