Not sure what to say?

Chris, Larry and I are so sorry to hear that your sweet Mom has passed away. We have known her a long time having lived just a couple blocks from each other in Kalamazoo and then were so happy to see her again when she moved to South Haven. Unfortunately, we are in Florida and missed her visitation and funeral. Please know of our sincere sympathy.

Betty,Catherine (Tibbits, Banner) and I spent much time together, first before children then after children. We liked to take our children to the lake where we would have a picnic and the kids would go swimming. We spent many fun days together. Betty will always have a special place in my heart. Good bye, Betty I love you!

Todd, I remember the outstanding high-school graduation party your mom hosted for you! In her typical manner, everything was absolutely perfect. The tables were beautifully decorated, and the food was delicious :) Your mom looked elegant--in fact, even when I'd run into her at Meijer's or other shopping centers, she looked lovely--not a hair out of place. She took great care to make sure you kids had a gracious home, love of family, and security. Some Moms are angels in disguise :)

I met Betty in South Haven the Summer of 2017. We became good friends. I rented there one full Winter the last Winter she lived there before she moved back to Kalamazoo. We had so many fun times together. I will always remember our good times together. She was such a beautiful lady. Everyone who met her loved her. RIP Betty. Peace and Comfort to the family Sue Jacobs
