My condolences to Joel and Dana and the rest of the family. When y'all feel the water welling in the eyes, it is OK. Think about it. If you have water in a wooden boat and too much water pressure is inside the boat, the boat can crack/break. Same with a human. Don't let your boat break. Release that pressure. Again, I am so sorry for y'all's loss of your mama. Ain't nobody like your mama.

Special thoughts and prayers to both during this time of loss. Our families shared many memories living as neighbors on that Vacation Dr/Donald Ave corner. We were just kids enjoying life, playing ball in the street and swimming in the lake. Now we are old folks, with walkers, glasses and gray hair hanging on to those fun times, memories and pictures. Continue to take care of each other, smile, laugh, hug and certainly let everyone especially family how much you love them.

Dana and Joel, Sorry for your loss. Joyce was a dear friend and we considered her part of our family. We loved her so much. All of my family always enjoyed our visits with her and she will truly be missed. She and Julie will have a lot to talk about when they meet in heaven.. we love you Joyce

Mrs. Stringer was so special to me and to my family and we loved her very much. She was a loving mother to Dana and Joel and was beloved by her daughters-in-law and grandchildren. Mrs. Stringer always brought her delicious deviled eggs to family meals and we all looked forward to seeing her. Rest in Peace, Mrs. Stringer. It is comforting to know that you and my sister, Julie, will be together watching over us from Heaven. We will see you again one day.
