Betty Ussery

My condolences to Marcie & Don Jr. I don´t believe we ever met (or at least I was too young to remember) but we were your neighbors to the north on E. River Rd. In Des Plaines. We lived in a trailer at the old Tamarak Day Camp and whenever the weather got sketchy, my mom would bring me to your house and the safety of your basement. I don´t know the extent of your mom´s and my mom´s friendship or how it began, but that is one of my earliest memories. I was born in 1965 and am 60 years old now....

Betty was so nice to me all the time. She would sit with her friend on a bench looking toward Lake Morton. She had a good outlook of life and had a beautiful laugh.
I'll miss you Betty as will all the others that you touched. May God let you make others happy in heaven as you've done here.
