Dear Dave and Family,
I just learned of Betty's passing and am deeply saddened. Betty was a true friend and my mentor. She was responsible for informing me about the superintendency opportunity in the Hempfield Area School District where I subsequently served for five wonderful years. I will always have have high regard and fond memories of my friend and colleague Betty.
In remembrance,

My sincere sympathy to all the family for the loss of Betty. She was a wonderful advocate for children and public education and a mentor to many of us on the PSBA Executive Board.
My prayers are for happy memories to comfort you now and in the future.
