Betty was a dear friend who always kept in touch long after she moved away from Lincoln. We traveled together several times and laughed about the fun times we shared. When she taught 2nd grade, she was like the horse whisperer. She never raised her voice with her students. She was amazing! I'll miss her annual Christmas cards.

Betty was my wonderful mentor and friend when I started teaching. I learned so much from her positive spirit and kindness. I didn´t know until today (3/20/25) that she had passed. We were Christmas card friends all these years. She will be missed! I will never forget you Betty!
