Betty Wierenga

So many of my childhood memories are connected to times spent with your family. I know your mom was a very special friend to my parents. So sorry to hear of your loss.

I have fond memories of Thanksgiving family gatherings hosted by Betty. Over the years we discussed many books and my desire to have her teach me to play Bridge. Despite personal and health setbacks, she continued to enjoy her life....going on yearly cruises with her girls and living independently. She had a full and generous life.

Betty would always talk to me about the clothes that her daughter bought her from Chico´s and when I would pick out her outfit for the day the words from Betty was oh that´s pretty i´ll wear that today, To the family I am very sorry for your loss you are in my thoughts and prayers
