Not sure what to say?

I have just learned of the death of my colleague and friend and am so sorry. We taught together for five years in the Lower School at Porter Gaud. She was a mentor to me when I first joined the faculty. I have never known a kinder, gentler person than Betty. I know all of her family have many wonderful memories as a source of some comfort in her passing. My condolences to all of her family.

Betty was my grandmother. When we spoke, she always made me feel like she had all the time in the world for me. Conversations with her were a joy because she was kind, open, and endlessly curious. She is a beacon, and her absence amplifies how fortunate I was to have her in my life. I will think about Betty always.

Tom, Julie, and all the Wills Family~ Pete and I are deeply saddened by the loss of your precious mom~when I first met Pete, he took me to the Wills house, and introduced me to your parents~ it was, at that time, I met your mom and dad- your dad was in his Naval uniform...I was so impressed by their warmth and hospitality ~please know we are thinking of you all, and keeping you in our prayers! Rest In Peace , Mrs Wills Pete and Lucy McCoy PETE AND LUCY MCCOY Sep 18, 2022

Sending loving thoughts and prayers to the family. Betty was simply a treasure to me and my mother, Mary Alice. I loved listening to their stories from their times together growing up as cousins. This picture is the last time they were together in 2019. Much love to all of you! I pray you find much comfort in the memories of such a special lady and a life well lived.

I still recall sitting at the table next to her and Tom in a local restaurant several years ago . Although we had not previously met her genuine warmth was palpable and we conversed as comfortably as old friends. May her memory continue to be a blessing to Tom and family during their bereavement .

Our thoughts and prayers and with all of you! Sweetie touched so many loves and it was an absolute pleasure getting to know her.

Sending words of sympathy to the family of a lovely, warm, intelligent lady, who I had the pleasure of knowing and partnering in the game of bridge. I will never forget her kindness.

She will be missed by all who ever came in contact with her or her family

One of my best friends for the last 20 years! I will miss here so much. Extending prayers of comfort for her family. She lived a good life and influenced many people: children, students, friends. Rest in peach, sweet friend.
