Betty C. Woods

Betty C. Woods, 65 of Higginsville, Missouri died on Tuesday, November 29, 2016, at St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. Born Friday, July 20, 1951 in Higginsville, Missouri, she was the daughter of the late Wilburn Woods, Sr. and the late Ruth Fields Woods. She was a lifelong resident of Higginsville and a graduate of the Lafayette County C-1 school district, class of 1969. She was of the Methodist faith. She worked as a packer at ATK ammo plant in Kansas City, MO retiring in 2015. Surviving are one daughter, Lucreasha Riddlespriger of Lees Summit, MO; one brother, Wilburn R. (Annerose) Woods, Jr. of Higginsville; two sisters, Darlene Woods of Higginsville and Deborah A. Woods of Overland Park, KS; one grandson, Cohl Riddlespriger A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Salem United Church of Christ with Pastor Darrin Edwards, officiating and Selma Terry, vocalist.
