In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

From the folks at Norfolk Naval Shipyard, pipe shop. Please accept our deepest sympathy for the loss of Betty. We worked with Betty's late husband Tony, they were both fine people and we will miss them. May she rest in peace.

Tony, R.C., Jeff, LouAnn, Ross, Gary, Randy and the members of the pipe shop who remember them fondly.

I'm so sorry to hear of Ms. Betty's passing. She was such a kind and generous person. She was a surrogate grandmother to my nieces and taught them many wonderful things that I am sure they will remember the rest of their lives.

May she rest in peace.

Melissa Curtis (aunt to the Curtis girls Ashley, Hali, Brittany and Summer)
