March 11, 1920 - July 9, 2014 Beulah Gibbs (94), born March 11, 1920, left her Earthly home on July 9, 2014 for a reunion in Heaven with the Lord, her husband, Woodrow Gibbs, Sr., her parents, John and Sallie Gowdy, and her sons, Wesley Gibbs, Sr. and Albert Gibbs, Sr. She was a native of York, AL but resided in the Plateau area of Mobile, AL for over 7 decades. She leaves to cherish her memory: Three sons: Rev. Nathaniel (Bessie) Gibbs, Sr., Clarke (Orgie) Gibbs, and Dea. Woodrow (Bertha) Gibbs, Jr.; two daughters: Brenda (Ronnie) Ford and Cathy (Rev. Alphonso Sr.) Brady; two daughters-in-law: Jacqueline Gibbs and Linda Gibbs; one sister: Maggie Fowler; 22 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren, a host of nephews, nieces, and other relatives, neighbors, and friends. The Homegoing Celebration will be held Saturday, July 19, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Mount Olive Baptist Church of Mauvilla followed by the burial at Gethsemane Cemetery- Mobile Street. Dr. Alphonso Brady, Sr. officiating. Hodges Funeral Chapel directing.
