Not sure what to say?

It was with great sadness that I learned last evening of my college roommate Bev's passing. We were roommates for all four years at Edinboro as well as sorority sisters in Kappa Mu Delta, later Alpha Xi Delta. Bev and I were involved in various vocal music organizations at Edinboro, and in 1971, she was one of my bridesmaids. What I remember most about Bev was her infectious smile and laughter and great faith. Creativity abounded in Bev, from her music and choral compositions to her homemade...

We know Bev through singing with her in the Erie Symphonic Singers, and have enjoyed singing with her and sharing stories during moments of quiet. She and her constant smile will be missed. She is surely making music in Heaven.

I met Beverly through the I AM Activity of the Saint Germain Foundation. She lovedLife, the arts, God and everyone she met. We stayed in touch long distance when she remained in PA to assist her ailing father. A delightful soul, dear friend. Called home early to serve from the other side.

I considered Beverly to be a very very close friend for many decades, even though I live in Australia. I got to know her through the I AM Sanctuary and time spent in Erie working with Dr Lewis Avery, who was Beverly's life mentor and great friend.

Beverly had an incorruptible faith in God, and devoted her life to the service of God..and I have no doubt she has been called back early to serve a higher purpose with God.

I am a better person for having known Beverly.

What can I say about Miss Baur.....
She had been such a wonderful influence on so many lives!
I had her for 5th grade. By far, my favorite teacher. Her enthusiasm, and love for world travel and the arts to this day has inspired me. Mythology was brought to life by her joy of teaching it.
I was able to reconnect with her later in life and am so thankful she shared even more of her zest for life with me.
Heartfelt sympathy to her family...she was one of a kind! :)

Miss Baur,

I thank you for the passion and enthusiasm you brought to the gifted program. The enlightenment you brought to my children still shines in them. I won't forget how you provided them with rich exposure to the world's great music, drama, history, mythology and art. Nor will I forget how you welcomed the families to be involved and share these experiences. A classical education in a modern world is a rarity. Thank you.

It was Miss Baur who introduced me to Greek mythology, poetry, dance, meditation, the beauty of stained glass windows, Catholic cathedrals, world cultures, and so much more. To this day (35 years after having her in 4th grade), whenever I hear a great poem or see a beautiful landscape (or anything purple) or stop to appreciate art or reflect on life, I'm reminded of the powerful and positive influence she's had on my life.

May God grant Beverly Baur eternal rest and let His perpetual...

Miss Baur was my favorite teacher. I recall all of our travels, learning Greek mythology was my favorite. She kept learning fun. Who could forget the purple teacher lol May she Rest In Peace & know she touched many young during her life.

Wishing all who knew Beverly, much peace and only happy memories. May she find great peace and joy in her travels beyond.
