Beverly Higgins Cuffori Bishop (Cuffy) GORHAM -- I arrived in July 1943 to the parents Virginia Rackleff Higgins and Lawrence Cecil Higgins. My late husband, Robert Cuffori, and my husband Bruce Bishop both gave me happiness in different ways. My life on this earth was one of joys and of sorrows,...

Not sure what to say?

I think of Beverly often and miss her. We were friends for so many years its hard to believe that she is gone. She was one of a kind friend.

Dear Cuffy, It was great to work with you at Shaw's North Windham. My sympathies to your family and friends. Rest In Peace.

Shane and Jodi,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. My thoughts are with both of you during this difficult time.

Shane and Jodi,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. My thoughts are with you during this difficult time.

Bev was an honorary member of the oboe section in the Casco Bay Concert Band, and I had the honor of singing with her in the soprano section of the Longfellow Chorus. In that first chorus rehearsal, she was a friendly face in the midst of strangers. Her kind words, contagious smile and sense of humor will be missed, and my sympathy goes out to her family.

We met in 1967 in California when we were both pregnant Air Force wives - your friendship through the years meant the world to me - I wish I could have spent more time with you this past year but it just wasn't possible - you will always be in my thoughts and prayers until we meet again. Rest in peace my dear friend.

Beverly was surely a lovely light that shined on all of her friends and family. Her positive energy and sincerity will remain with our choir family, and we will all miss her. I am so glad to have had the chance to spend some special time with Bev and Bruce in Ireland. Wonderful people, very connected. My best to Bruce and all of the family.

Much love,
~Kim

As only Bev could have done, she left us all with such beautiful words and an inspirational message to comfort those who knew her. She was one of the kindest and most gentle person I've had the pleasure to know. I enjoyed the many years we shared as former employees of Shaw's and the friendships that still exist after all these years. May your family and friends find comfort with all the wonderful memories that have been created with you. Heaven has just received another Angel, peace be...

Bev, I was so sad to hear of your passing, just the other day I read a note from you saying we must get together. You truly were a very special Mom, Wife, Grandmother, and friend. Peace be with you, Love Helen
