Beverly Bonde

Bev's smile could brighten any room. I miss seeing her at work and connecting with her. I had the honor to work closely with Bev through the Abriendo Caminos program where she served as a mentor and coach to many teachers throughout the years. I loved working with Bev and miss her so much. Not only was she a dedicated and hard working teacher, but a wonderful person with a big heart. She is truly missed.

Dear Bev, you became my friend through your love for your dogs, from casual encounters walking our collies... Taz was about 14 when we met and reminded me of Gene Kelly with his gentle ways and bouncy elegant step. Perhaps a silly small thing but when my own senior puppy Punkle managed to get lost at Longs and it was getting dark, you stayed behind and helped me find her. Can you believe we only realized our common ground in science after many walks... I guess this just goes to show how much...
