I first met Bev when she was a volunteer at McKenzie-Willamette Hospital. She was a wonderful person and tireless volunteer who never complained. She was always a calm voice-of-reason when planning the hospital's many fund-raising events. The community has lost someone special.

We have lost a grand old dam of the Working Dog Sport, Beverly Carlson. She was always there to support with cheer and camaraderie. I remember especially an article she wrote after Alan and Boris competed in Germany at the International Police Dog Championships, “But Boris would not out”! She found the positive in everything. I met Bev at a dog funtion a long time ago, and thereafter talked with her at many more dog funtions. I didn't know her as a close friend however Bev was always the same every time I saw her. Always a smile and a hug. Bev was devoted to Alan and was by his side at every event, He was the love of her life, partner, and friend, and she knew about dogs, and correctness of routines, she learned well. It was a delight to know her. My sympathy and prayers to all the family and friends who will...

There are no words to describe the great loss that is felt. Bev has been a huge part of my life for a long time. She wrapped her love and knowledge around both Jarrett & I supporting us in everything that we did. Bev was a truly special and supportive friend (Mom).
We have very fond memories of us all together training, trialing, parties, laughing, and the birth of our daughter Dalaney. Bev is with us always.
Our thoughts and prayers are especially with Alan & Ted, and...
