Family.......Continue to treasure memories and heartfelt conversations that you had with your loved one. As I look at pictures posted and read the comments made, it is evident that she loved and lived life .... Reflection is a beautiful thing..............especially when it involves a beautiful person.....

I was a KD sorority sister from UAH and just learned of Beverly´s death. She was taken from this earth too soon but will be remembered fondly by all who were privileged to know her....

I remember asking her questions about her relationship to the founders of Carraway Hospital in the Norwood community. Our "Doctor-Patient"conversations were always enlightening. Physicians like her are few & far between...that is for sure! Continued reflections and blessings to her family.

I miss you friend.

Love and miss my doctor, Dr. Carraway-Handley! She is irreplaceable...

Fly High Beautiful Angel :)

It took me quite a bit of time to finally secure a doctor. I carefully searched because I wanted someone who had ALL of the qualities that Beverly had. Well, I selected a doctor, and made my first visit in the Fall of 2020. As I began to talk about Dr. Handley, a discovery was made...the two of them(doctors) used to work together several years prior to their employment at UAB. Amazing......

I think of her often. I like my new doctor, but Beverly was a very special person. She is missed

I just found out on a visit to my spine doctor, Robert Nesbitt, one of Beverly's classmates. Heartfelt condolences to the family! Dr. Beverly will never be replaced in primary care, a rare physician who made me and all her patients feel HEARD and seen.
